Not much to say here! As you have probably seen, I've got a lot of Dragon Quest stuff. A few of the items in the collection are actually my mother's, but they were all purchased by me with the exception of a few of the Metallic Monsters. They count. :P The original releases of Dragon Quest/Warrior 1-9 are all my original first owner copies, some from FAR back in the day. I wasn't quite as into the Monsters games, and while I bought the DS DQM games at launch, I had to back up to buy all the Game Boy Color games, as the first Game Boy I owned was the Advance.
What probably started me on the rest of this? At Anime Expo...2004? I came across a booth that sold a little knitted slime plush and the original Dragon Quest Crystal Monsters keychains, all in their cute little boxes. I didn't have a lot of money at the time (minimum wage salary, y'all,) but I managed to buy a few of them. The next year, it was a few more, than a few more...at some point, more stuffed slimes joined the party, then it all went downhill from there. Moving to Japan from 2008-2011 made my collection expand quite a bit, as you might figure, although I was more restrained than I should have been, in hindsight. All the pretty things~
Regarding WHERE I get my stuff (people always ask!)
Ebay is great for the games, but be careful about the merchandise. Plenty of it is perfectly legit, but there's a good amount of probable bootlegs on there as well. Remember, if it's a fraction of the cost of anything else, be sure to ask yourself why!

- At conventions (mainly Anime Expo.)
- At a store (mainly the Square-Enix Store/Artnia and multiple Yodobashi Cameras.)
- Online, through CDJapan, Amiami, the Japanese Square-Enix Shop, and Yahoo!Japan Auctions.
- Soundtracks come from all over, but since I bought the majority of them used, mainly Bookoff in addition to Y!J.
